What Our Professionals Will Never Do
This is a safety and legal requirement for all Karuna visits.
I understand that the Karuna Professionals assigned to this session provides personal and daily living assistance only. They are not trained medical professionals and will not perform any clinical procedures, administer medication, or make medical decisions.
- Administer medication (injections, IV, controlled drugs)
- Perform any wound cleaning, dressing, or suturing
- Make clinical decisions or provide medical advice
- Operate medical equipment (oxygen concentrators, feeding tubes, etc.)
- Assist with any procedure requiring nursing or paramedical qualification
- Provide dietary or physiotherapy prescriptions
